WAAW recognized that the opportunity in the Brazilian audio market lay in being neither too cheap nor overly premium. The sweet spot was mid-height brands that combined quality and affordability. To differentiate from competitors, WAAW decided to focus on a unique 'white space'—becoming a lifestyle brand that merged quality with style. WAAW's mission was to inspire and recharge people through music, moving them out of their autopilot, a vision deeply rooted in Alok's beliefs.

The "Obey Your Beat" platform idea transformed WAAW into more than just an audio brand—it became a symbol of personal expression, aligning the brand with seven distinct pillars:

MUSIC, SPORTS, GAMING, CULTURE, FASHION, LIFESTYLE, and COMMUNITY.
