• We shifted the media coverage of the pandemic in Brazil by turning Covid statistics into living memories

Inumeráveis
— Beyond Numbers

In 2021, Brazil became the second country with the most cases of Covid-19 in the world. More than 650,000 who are gone leaving so much pain and suffering behind became statistics. That means 1 in 36 Brazilians suffers from grief.

Over two years, "Inumeráveis" has published the life stories behind the coronavirus victims in Brazil

Each story went through a vigorous fact-check internal process. Interviews and reviews were carried out by hundreds of trained and qualified volunteers.

A live digital space that influenced and shifted the media coverage of the crisis in Brazil

We actively worked with publishers to give more visibility for stories. The media has partnered with the Inumeraveis team to cover the human aspect of the pandemic.

The project was talked about by everyone, including over 125 Brazilian celebrities and opinion leaders who also engaged spontaneously:

The stories of the memorial have been featured in every major media platform in Brazil:

An artistic tech installation that earned the support of the Secretary of Culture is now set to be completed with in 6 months in the city São Paulo

Now, stories that were once statistics can live on forever with the people who visit our memorials— both virtual and real life
